Click on the image to make it bigger then have a look amongst the prayer flags for oddly topical confectionary...

Quietly amused when picking out images for the news story about the new Buxton Adventure Festival to spot some unexpected confectionary nestling - sorry - amongst the prayer flags in this Everest summit shot of Squash Falconer. 

Yep, look closely and you'll spot a topically non-tropical Bounty Bar reclining gracefully on the roof of the world. And you though Bounty Bars were all about Caribbean beaches and bikini-clad beauties. World's highest Pachamama offering or just inspired product placement?

Congratulations to the Bounty Bar on summiting Everest without supplementary oxygen.

I was impressed that it managed to reach the top without being eaten, but then again, eating a Bounty with an oxygen mask in place may be problematic.

I confidently predict a whole new raft of Everest confectionary-sponsored expeditions over the next few years...
