Please can someone do regular 'talkbacks' on the news items?

Wish they'd fix this glitch - just occasionally I actually would like to view the articles when they come out, (instead of a '404 error page') rather than waiting for someone to comment on them to make them viewable via a talkback link

well, the Pogu mini crampons would be a start for now, but I'd suggest someone just does it straightaway for all articles as they appear - there seems to be so many of us who can't view them direct

It's more likely to be the browser, I think.

I'm on Virgin and use Chrome but have tried Opera, Firefox and IE and it still shows error.

I've never had it but then am running ad blocking etc. Perhaps its some advert not loading?!!? Unlikely I suppose as you'd normally at least load the main content regardless.

I'm on Virgin and use Chrome, everything works fine. Opera and Firefox also work.
Javascript error prevents the smileys / insert image bar working on Chrome.
I don't use adblock, does it work if you turn adblock off?

Just checked and it works for me on Windows XP, Windows 7, OSX and Ubuntu for the above browsers. Mystery.

I just checked a Firefox browser with adblocker and it still worked.

I use Firefox with Adblocker and it works well across the wholes site on everything I look at so I doubt it's that. It's no problem if one of other starts a talkback. I'll do a few too if I remember although it might be longer than the main article if I do!! Just warning you!!!

What happens if someone you are ignoring starts a talkback? Would you still see the talkback but without a post??

it's not related to browser for me - at home or on mobile phone - tried lots of different browsers on both ages ago when it first started happening - and tried a few today to re-check.

That's why I suggested ISP provider (I use Talktalk and Talkmobile).
