They're not really "new to the UK". I had a 2004 Eureka Autumn Wind XD a few years ago bought from a UK shop. I think that they were imported from a distributor in Holland then.
They appear to be the same now

As I remember Bob at Backpackinglight.co.uk sold some Euraka tents, the Spitfires I think, when he first started up, so that would be around 2006 or maybe late 2005.

Taunton leisure have been selling Eureka tents for years

They used to do the various Spitfires - I looked quite hard at one, but it didn't float my boat...

2000-3000mm HH on the groundsheets, no thanks.

Gosh Matt you DO have a good memory LOL!

We did indeed sell the lightweight Eureka's for a while the Spitfire, the Moonshadow Duo and one other I think.

They were reasonable value for money tents at the time but Eureka didn't respond well to our customer feedback and the questions as to design quirks as I recall.

This is their fourth attempt at getting into the UK market since 2005 with various retailers large and small, giving them a try I think.

I think they've been sold in the bushcraft type of retailers for years. Although I think they mainly stocked.the heavier army versions. Eureka is one of those brands I ruled out as cheap, heavy and probably nasty after seeing the army tents.
