Looks interesting - they seem well designed and would probably be good for a range of activities.

the price is bit off putting, but im looking forward to trying some of these on, need some new general, bit of walking, bit of trail jogging, genral stomping around town looking rugged and outdoorsy type shoes.

Yes, they're not cheap, but they seem well built and I supect, as above, a chunk of that is down to the Vibram sole unit.
