Chose these (last Friday) as a replacement for Salomen Quest GTX boots that were failing after 5 short months.
Perhaps not the wisest choice to take brand new boots straight into the Lake District, but pleased to report that after 2 days, 24 miles and 6000' of up and down (High Street and Skiddaw) my feet are still intact and actually feeling quite OK. No blistering, chafing, pain, anywhere (except where'd you expect after such a weekend!). Quite stiffer than the Salomens', but similar to the Borneo's i had before that. I also like being back in a full leather boot as the Salomens would take DAYS to dry and stank of mould.
Would recommend. However as always, try before you buy. Make sure they are the boot for your feet.
