Hi David, I'll see if we can get this sorted out. Sorry about that, I know that the original deal was extended, so it may be that we need a new code from OS or they need to tweak something on their site.

Thanks! I was trying out Quo on a one month sub when I saw this offer. Getamap does all I need I think but if no rush on an offer, I'd leave it till the end of my Quo month....

David, you might like to try wheresthepath, which provides most of the facilities of GetaMap*, with the addition of side-by-side GoogleEarth satellite imagery, but lacking the 1:25k mapping.  It's free.

* indeed, the new GetaMap route-planning looks awfully like wheresthepath, which has been a bit of a thorn in OS' side; OS are certainly aware of what WtP does, and what it looks like...

i've found that the printing is awful on getamap - it's awful when output to a pdf file too so it isn't my printer/browser

it is cheap though. but then again so is anquets 50k mapping

OTOH, if you've got a Garmin GPS you can get 20% off. Go to:
http://www.magazine.ordnancesurveyleisure.co.uk/magazine/tscontent/featured-brands/garmin/garmin-os-getamap-offer.html?utm_source=garmin&utm_medium=email&utm_campaign and use the voucher code listed there.

The code should be fixed now and also valid until the end of October. I found the pdf files from Getamap fine btw. I wish they'd give a total elevation figure in the route stats though. Satmap's online route planner similarly misses out on that, so I guess there may be a techical reason for it.

Total ascent and descent figures are printed in Wheresthepath's printed route map & notes...
