And here was me thinking that Conachair on Hirta was the highest sea cliff in Britain at 400m.

I suppose reporting that someone has climbed Britain's highest vertical sea cliff doesn't sound as snappy.

Nit-picking aside, what a great effort by Messers Macleod and Turner.
The right team in the right physical and mental state on the right route in the right conditions.
The climb was a thing of beauty.

I think I must have accidentally omitted him in a hurried edit, I'm sure he was mentioned originally, I've put him back. Dave's blog is interesting, he mentions just sort of popping up the Old Man of Hoy as if he's just nipped out to the shops at one point.
