For sale: PHD Minimus Sleeping Bag. 800 down. Standard length. Black MX fabric outer. I asked for a short zip on the left side which cost extra, as did the MX fabric. Its been used for one 4 day trip and 2 overnight trips, always with a liner which is included. About 15 months old but been hanging up in a cupboard for about 12 months. I replaced the PHD stuffsack, which isnt waterproof, with an Exped drybag which is. This is also included. I think I paid around £220 for it including the "extras" and postage. Im looking for £140 including delivery by RM Special Next Day. Payment by paypal gift please. Thanks.

Oh I don't believe it. I've had a 'wanted' post up for one of these for the last week, and not having had any joy at all and the LAMM looming closer, I placed an order for a brand new Western Mountaineering bag this afternoon.

so cancel the order and buy this one...

Nah, I'm happy with my choice. Just cost me considerably more...

Sorry to OP for hijacking thread- the minimus looks a great bag - GLWTS.

No worries gee cee, I have a couple of WM bags and they are superb. But my ever growing collection of bags and quilts requires trimming down a bit........

What are the temp/weight specs for this?
31/05/2012 at 20:22
The temp rating is given on the PHD site as +5 and the weight is 470grms. The weight I can confirm but I havent used it enough to really give any indication as to the lowest temp it could be used. These "comfort" values are somewhat subjective figures as I have used another PHD bag, which was rated at 0, down to -7 and was very comfortable. There are various reviews online regarding this bag as well as the very informative information available on PHD Designs website. Cheers.
