Mountain Laurel Designs solomid in grey silnylon, seam sealed and fitted with red dyneema cord from bpl uk. also has a small modification - two extra guyline points added by ron, one at each end for extra stability in high winds if required. used for two nights without the inner so pretty much as new. inner is standard mld solo inner with silnylon shield floor - never used except to pitch and check its ok - more info available on MLD website (for some reason i cant post a direct link today.) i will try and get some pics up asap if anyones interested. remember its the smaller solomid, rather than the wider duomid! but it has a small footprint and using the outer on its own with a polycro sheet is suprisingly roomy (by ultralight standards anyway!) the outer only weighs 360 odd grams, the inner 250 odd. my access to the internet is a bit sporadic at the minute so bear with me if you're interested and i will get back to you i promise! £150 including recorded delivery means you avoid the interminable wait for MLD stuff and avoid the customs charges as well!
