Mountain Laurel Designs Patrol Shelter
in Spinntex (Grey spinnaker fabric)
250g 8.5 oz
This is a long solo tarp shelter with a closed foot and front beak for extra weather protection.
It's been used a handful of times and is in excellent condition.
Selling it as I have decided I prefer a side entry shelter.
These are $215 new more with import duty etc.(and waiting list...)

Bump
just remembered - it's been seam-sealed with MCnett
still for sale
I also have an MLD Serenity net tent (the solid/silnylon door option)
would sell it with Patrol Shelter for right price. but not separately.
(Patrol Shelter available separately though)
bumpity bump
just found this photo of the last time I used it (june last year)
Mind if I ask why you are selling it Moley? How long is it inside? How stable? I have heard that you are quite tall so I guess it would be long enough for me but still wondering why the sale. Sort of interested, not sure. How wide is the serenity nest? How much for both?
Mole or Mrs Nesbit - just seen that the shelter is in spinntex. What is that fabric like? Not crisp packet noisey is it? Also as a fabric does it need more care than say sil-nylon which you can stuff, fold or roll into a stuff sack without damage. Does Spinn-tex take more looking after. I'm not known for tent care. It has been known for me to forget to air and dry a tent or tarp after a trip for two or more weeks.
Think I have an Argos tent that has never been aired or dried after I used it once. Forgot my tent and had to spend £5 for the Argos tent on big weekend event I'd gone on. Then after a night of heavy rain and condensation I packed it away wet and it never came out of its bag for about two years I think.
I digress... I am temnpted about the combined kit but the above questions and also will a 6'5" person be comfortable in the serenity? The MLD site shows someone 6'1" sitting up in it and they seem to fill it. They also say up to about 6'1" or 6'4" IIRC.
still available. It's ready to go out and play! I'm tempted to use it myself
On saturday I replaced all the old 3mm guys with new tougher 2mm clamcleats line and fitted a 1.5mm interior ridge line for hanging the net tent onto/washing line.
But strike soon if you want it, as summer is happening and I still haven't made the Rayway Tarp!
