Morning,
This is likely my only post here as After discoveing ukc want 5 quid a week for advertising my stuff I thought i'd try here first...
For some provenance ok on me check out singletrackworld forum and look for daftvader!
I have some stuff from a failed climbing trip to aconcagua in 2007 (having an allergic reaction to food at 5000m is not recomended).

La sportiva Spantik size 45, slight marks to the surface from fitting/transport but otherwise unworn £300

Outdoor design karakorum full gaiter, goretex. Fitted to boots but never used. £40.

Black diamond crampons (all spares allan keys and spanner) and bag. Slight marks from fitting but never used £80.

PhD mountain mitts. Unused £80

Cebe goggles £20

Julbo micropore glasses £35

Prices all include postage.

Will also swap the lot for a decent full sus frame/bike (160mm+ travel) Tel your friends if you know anyone likely to be interested!

Cheers Tim

Tim, is all this stuff i.e. the Spantiks from 2007? if so why did you keep them so long?

Which BD crampons are they?
02/06/2012 at 18:32
Well.....
the intention was to carry on with some alpine and winter stuff. Then had a kid, then a broken ankle and 2 successive knee injuries the climbing just never happened.... Sad but true. Now the focus has gone back to bikes and I needed some (alot!) cash. This is all top end gear thats been sat in the cupboard (which sucks) so someone may aswell get a bargin. As for the crampons I really cant remember the name of them. drop me an emailon tim(dot)little@rocketmail.com and I can shoot you some pics

Cheers Tim thats fair enough....

Would like to do more winter climbing in Canada whilst I'm there.
Mainly I'm not sure if a 45 is gonna be quite big enough for me and also I wonder if there have been any changes in the boot since 2007? I tend to get the label of moneybags but its possible to get a VERY good deal on these boots if you know where to look.

I aint no expert on BD crampons especially ones that are likely discontinued.... any chance you can put some pics up here?

Sorry didnt finish the reply....doing a bbq at the same time! I dont think that there have been any changes to the boots. If its any help I am a size 10 1/2 and have narrow feet and thete is enough room for thick smartwool socks with liner
