Alan, have you tried an extreme for fit?, i'm usually a medium, with the extreme i had to go for a large, the only large sized piece of kit i own in fact.

Havent tried on but i guess a large would be good for throwing over the top

The large is a perfect fit on me with a HH lifa under it, i'm 5'9" ish and about 11 stone.

I'd really try one on before buying, if i'd ordered online without trying on i'd have ordered a medium too.

the way all P/P work best is over no more than a base layer.

Oh...and I'd go a size up as well

Hi.I know its been a while since you asked about a montane smock..But ive just started using this site again and came across your add...I have an extreme smock size M..in green..Its in new condition, I've only worn it a couple of times..I just cant get away with the chest pockets."much prefer them lower"...I would sell it for £45+p&p...
