I have a pair of 'older' Salewa crampons - no model name though; do you have a pic of what you want?

Not really. 12 points , black or silver depending on model . everests bolt togetherat front, in 2 places in front of the joining bar and where joining bar meets heels piece.Black. Classics have not joints and are silver.  Messners have the scissor in the middle.  If you feel like posting a pic try

How old are 'older crampons'?

I got some in 1975 that aren't going to see any more winters. They're still in great condition and they have reinforced rubber straps. None of your new-fangled 'step-in' crampons!

Quite possibly 75 vintage is fine. Just "normal" strap on 12 pointers really. I have no issues with traditional straps compared with modern ones so the chance to save some cash by avoiding new is great. My Old, 1980 ish Everests are fine on my boots, be it old Koflacjs or new Scarpas. What you got and how much??

They adjust for length - they fit my 44 Scarpa Charmoz nicely...too nicely - I'm beginning to like them again

I have a pair of Camp K2's. early 1980's vintage c/w neoprene straps. These babies are adjustable for length, 12 pointers, good nick and live in my cupboard so Mrs Boblo would be glad to see the back of them.
