Wanted Ruffwear Lightweight Dog Bed

Hi all, im looking for a lightweight Ruffwear dog bed for my 8 year old Welsh Boarder Collie Mabel, who will be walking 1047 miles with me this summer around all of Wales on the Offa's Dyke and Wales Coast Path for charity.

I think you need more than a dog bed for her...
a bloody great bone for a start.

Anyone out there got a pet shop who can help?

Why not an ordinairy foam pad? Buy a 1,90m foam pad of 18 or 15mm or so. Cut it in half (two pieces of 90 cm). Tape the two halves alongside eachother in such a way you can fold the two halves on top of eachother. You then have a 18mm pad of 0,90 * 1 or 1,2m.

Ruffwear beds are horrendously expensive, around £70! Why not make one?, worked for me. An old duvet cut down and some waterproof material for the bottom and fleece for the top. 1m of each should be ample.

I might try that if i have time over the next few days, I set off on my walk on the 10th july and its very busy in school before the end of term
