Hi, I saw this post earlier but didn't reply as I'm snowed under with work and adventure at the mo however I do have a pair of Aarn balance pockets that are about 3 years old and are supplied for use with the Load Limo. I bought them with my Aarn Natural Balance pack which came with Sport pockets too. I needed the bigger pockets for my full frame DSLR, but quickly changed to a smaller camera so these have been lying unused for about 2 years.

If these sound useful I can dig them out . I think the design may have changed since I bought them so the fittings may have changed if you have a pack to fit them to. As I said I'm pretty busy, so if that's enough info for you, do some detective work to see if they're what you want. If you have any specific Q's I'm around until friday then probably away for a week or so. If you live anywhere near N Yorks I'd be happy to meet so you can try them out.

cheers for your reply ian, much appreciated, i want them for an older model ( think its the 2008 model ) so i guess the fitting will be fine. id just need to know the capacity . i am pretty interested, not in any hurry at all so if you could dig them out when you have some time that would be great. many thanks. dave.

Hi Dave I've remembered they're the Expedition pockets and I believe they're 9L each plus an elasticated pocket each. They used to be the biggest pockets Aarn made. They were bought at the end of 2008.

Snowlion, maybe some info that will be of assistance. Aarn keep developing their stuff in response to user feedback and I know that their balance pockets from 2009 onwards do not always fit sacks before that date. I bought a 2008 (?) version pack from a guy on Ebay and managed to get balance pockets to suit from Aarn in NZ. But they don't have many old ones left. You would need to ensure that the holster fitting matches on the belt and the pocket and that the side adjustment straps also fit. Best of luck.
