Ben

I agree that you will find them on the large size, especially if you compare them to brands such as Rab/Motnane etc

AHHHH! Mountain factor only have smalls left. And it was an XL I wanted. And a saving of £110 Double AHHHH! :(

Will drop them a mail in case there are any returns.

And just rung Cunninghams and they only have the smocks on offer. Gonna go and sulk :(

Interestingly, I was in their store in Betsw-y-Coed this morning and they had next to no offers on their Paramo range. It seems that Ambleside is the place to go bargains!

Ambleside seems more competitive generally for deals! ;)

The smock is the one that everyone seems to prefer: I've not seen anyone in an Aspira jacket. If I'd realised they had smocks I'd have looked for one for myself.

Just got back from a weekend in the lakes, called in at Stuart Cunninghams Ambleside on Friday and picked up an Aspria jacket for £130,that must be the mother of all bargins.

It's in last years colours <Blue and Black> hence the price,i wore it on Castlerigg fell the same afternoon and it performed superbly.

The Aspria was the only jacket besides the Vasco that interested me but the retail price put me off a bit, but I'm now a happy Paramo Bunny :o)

go on, rub it in! :)

it must have been one of the last ones, cos when i rang them today the jackets were back at £240. The still had smocks at £150, but only in the orange colour (sienna?)...!

Not sure, but aren't a lot of the MRT jackets Aspiras?

Not to worry CCD,if i see any Aspria bargins on my travels i'll let you know.

If anyones interested The Mountaineer Grassington have Viento jackets at £150.
I've got an Aspira jacket, you must have seen me in it PW! especially on the F/Aid course

Anyhow now saving up for a smock as well (after all more versatility that way)

Just ordered one from Complete Outdoors, its in saffron/navy which isn't my preferred colour choice but at a saving of £110 pounds of list I think I can live with it!!
