Mine only has weather on it when it's been raining or snowing.

how can you need £400 of hanky, even if you had bird flu, you wouldn't need that many...

Indeed :o)

They do a nice one for the bikes with reflective stripes on it.
JYC has a pink one with glitter thread.

I'll go and lie down now.
In my defence many of the older ones have holes big enough to make them resemble monster Y-fronts.
In the old days a visit to the shops resulted in buying a pair of socks, because you had to have something, now it's buffs.

As I thought. Plenty of others have seen the ad and bought one (at least.) Nobody who has bought one seems to have a bad word to say about them.

I guess I'll be parting with some cash then. I just need to decide on the pattern. I noticed on the website that they do custom design, min order is 25. Perhaps Magillica would like to arrange for some OM ones to be snapped up by us members?

Ian, I've been trying to get that sorted for over a year but apparently there may be news soon on that and other OM Merchndise.

Good news Dave.

"Alas, poor Darren, me thinks he dost protest too much!"

Another old buffer here.

I like them in hot weather because they keep sweat out of my eyes and stop my baldy head burning. I've "only" got five.

No I wouldn't wear a hankie on my head.

I love to go up a hill in the Buff. Great for a quick face mask that you can breathe through. I wear mine on the bike and on hikes. Wouldn't go without one now.

Maybe they're like Marmite?

I may well get one, I can start a collection of silly headgear
SimpleSimon

Would that be to wear under or over your current headgear?

I've got a black fleecy one...

It would depend on conditions, obviously. perhaps in hairband mode to tie back me tassells for high winds or running =)

I've had a Buff for over a year now. I watched an Australian guy and a Spanish woman in a mountain refuge in Morocco run through their own demo of how to use one. I got my own a couple of weeks later in Mallorca - having realised that they're half the price in Spanish shops as they are in UK shops.

I love my one. Though I though you should be out and proud and refer to it as a snood!

Join the campaign for Buff Free Hills!!

This arguement is a little one sided, so I'm with Weird Darren on this one. Buffs are daft, and look even more ridiculous than the usual ridiculous stuff we wear outdoors.

I'd much rather look stupid in my fleece balaclava!

;o)

I think people in balaclavas look like they've been dressed by their mum. Probably have a bit of string up their sleeves to stop them losing their gloves :o)

And don't forget the reflective arm bands! I always wear mine!! ;o)

That's just as well 'cause you do look stupid in your fleece balaclava! :oP

A mundane question, but has anyone washed their Buff at 40 deg.C? Does it shrink?

Mine came with instructions to wash at 30 deg.C. Not having a fancy washing machine that does 30 deg.C, this means I have to hand wash mine.

What was that on your buff Gordy? Wee horses?? ;op
