Lucky you, Lindsay, with that last outing! Particularly like the one of Sgor Mor with the sun on the tops!

MK since that walk on Sunday there has been a lot of snow falling in the Grampians although it has been very windy so the tops will be a bit bare. Still a good start to 2008 so hopefully there will be no mild spell, well before the weekend, to spoil the chance of some more winter walking.

TR from Saturday 12 January to the Corbetts Meall na h-Eilde and Geal Charn . They are located west of Loch Lochay and north of the road to Glen Dessarry (leads to Knoydart). Plenty of snow higher up which can be seen from the amount of photographs I have added to the report.

The first half of the day was probably as good as you can get in the Scottish Highlands in winter, maybe even as good as the Alps.

Having been away again to try and make the most of the fine weather in the west coast I am a bit behind in my TR's but here's one from Sunday 10 February to the Corbett Aonach Shasuinn together with a few photographs.

Well this TR to the Grahm Beinn Ghobhlach is probably now in my Top 10 due to the magnificent views all round, a mixture of sea and mountains. Apologies if you get bored due to the number of photos but I have reduced them by half.

Some good snowy photos in that lot, Lindsay. I'll be near there myself this weekend.

I'll lookout for you MJ as I have a couple of days guiding a bit further south. More snow forecast, a pity about the breeze though. Enjoy your trip.

Keep blagging Lindsay - do you think it is a dying art?

Easter - a winter ascent of the Corbett Carn na Nathrach together with some photos.

Probably similar conditions to what MJ encountered above Loch Quoich although not sure if it was Saturday or Sunday he was there. (Liked the photos MJ).
