 On Saturday 5 November 2011, I headed to the hills south of Inverness and to the east of Loch Ness. The first Sub 2000 Marilyn that I climbed was Stac na Cathaig. It was a lovely sunny and still morning so I managed to take several photographs including reflections in Loch a'Choire. Slainte Lindsay

 The third Sub 2000 Marilyn I climbed on Saturday 5 November 2011 was Creag nan Clag on the east side of Loch Ness in Inverness-shire. Again there are a few photographs to view. Slainte Lindsay

 On Sunday 6 November 2011 I headed to Strathcarron, west of Bonar Bridge, to climb the Sub 2000 Marilyns, Breac-Bheinn and Meall Dheirgidh and the HuMP An Cabagach making the walk into a circular route round Meall nan Eun and Loch Meall Dheirgidh. It was a pleasant day so I took lots of photographs which I have managed to reduce to just over 40. Slainte Lindsay

 On Monday 7 November 2011 I climbed the Sub 2000 Marilyn, Carn na Loine near Grantown on Spey. There are a few photographs to view. Slainte Lindsay

 On Sunday 20 November 2011 I climbed the Corbett Mount Battock, on the Aberdeenshire/Angus border, from the Forest of Birse to the north. Despite periods of low cloud I did manage to capture a few views.

 Back to the hills after a forced break. On Friday 2 December 2011 with a reaonable forecast I headed to Moray to climb a couple of Sub 2000 Marilyns. The first one was Brown Muir at Teindland. There are a few photographs to view. Slainte Lindsay

 My second Sub 2000 Marilyn on Friday 2 December 2011, was the Hill of the Wangie, near Dallas in Moray. No views from the summit as the trig point is within a forest. Here are a few photographs from its south side. Slainte Lindsay

 On Saturday 10 December 2011 I travelled to Golspie in Sutherland to climb the Sub 2000 Marilyn Beinn Lunndaidh. The return route included Ben Bhraggie with its statue of the Duke of Sutherland. There are a number of photographs to view. Slainte Lindsay

 On Sunday 11 December 2011 I climbed a couple of Sub 2000 Marlyns in Glen Albyn on the east side of Loch Ness. The first one was Beinn a'Bhacaidh. Unfortunately the cloud lowered as I approached the summit so the photographs taken are all from a lower altitude. Slainte Lindsay

 The second Sub 2000 Marilyn I climbed on Sunday 11 December 2011 was Meall an Tarsaid, in Stratherrick, Inverness-shire. There are a few photographs to view. Slainte Lindsay

 On Saturday 17 December 2011 I went to Glen Buckie in the Trossachs and climbed the Graham Creag Mhor. Despite the strong wind near the summit it was a pleasant day out with snow cover higher up. Here are the photographs taken on the walk. Slainte LB

Looking at the odd Corbett for 2012, but hoping to caravan in Europe for a month and may get out and about a bit. Look us up if you're passing here again. Breakfast/lunch/or dinner !
