Blooming Neighbours

We have a huge council house near us.

3 generations of the same family seem to live there. The head of the family is a grumpy old woman with a pack of fierce dogs.

Her car isn't taxed or insured, and doesn't even have a number plate, but the police still do not do anything.

Her bad tempered old man is always upsetting foreigners with racist comments. One of the local shopkeepers blames him for ordering the murder of his son and his girlfriend but nothing has been proved yet. The police don't even want to investigate it properly

All their kids have broken marriages except the youngest, who everyone thinks is gay.

None of them have proper jobs, yet they never seem to be short of money. Two of their grandsons are meant to be in the army but are always out in local nightclubs.

It's so bad their antics are always in the papers. Opinion is that they are out of control, and should be evicted.

The sooner they are out of Windsor Castle the better.

Two tramps are walking past a church and they start to read the grave
stones. "Bloody Hell," one says, "this bloke was 182!"

"Oh yeah?" says the other, "What was his name?"

"Miles, from London," replies the second tramp.

A professor at Texas University was giving a lecture on parapsychology and the supernatural. To get a feel for his audience, he asks, "How many people here believe in ghosts?"

About 90 students raise their hands.

"Well, that's a good start. Out of those of you who believe in ghosts, do any of you think you have seen a ghost?"

About 40 students raise their hands.

"That's really good. I'm really glad you take this seriously. Has anyone here ever talked to a ghost?"

About 15 students raise their hand.

"Has anyone here ever touched a ghost?"

3 students raise their hands.

"That's fantastic. Now let me ask you one question further...have any of you ever made love to a ghost?"

Way in the back, Billy Bob raises his hand. The professor takes off his glasses, and says "Son, in all the years I've been giving this lecture, no one has ever claimed to have made love to a ghost.

You've got to come up here and tell us about your experience."

The big redneck student replied with a nod and a grin, and began to make his way up to the podium. When he reached the front of the room, the professor asks, "So, Billy Bob, tell us what it's like to have sex with a ghost?"

Billy Bob replied, "Shiiiit! From way back there I thought you said 'Goats'."

FRENCH TRADER WAS FORCED TO WORK 30 HOURS A WEEK

Friends of rogue trader Jerome Kerviel last night blamed his 5 billion Euro losses on unbearable levels of stress brought on by a punishing 30 hour week.

Kerviel hid his November losses in a batch of wonderfully fresh croissant.

Kerviel was known to start work as early as nine in the morning and still be at his desk at five or even five-thirty, often with just an hour and a half for lunch.

One colleague said: "He was, how you say, une workaholique. I have a family and a mistress so I would leave the office at around 2pm at the latest, if I wasn't on strike. "But Jerome was tied to that desk. One day I came back to the office at 3pm because I had forgotten my stupid little hat, and there he was, fast asleep on the photocopier. "At first I assumed he had been having s 3 x with it, but then I remembered he'd been working for almost six hours."

As the losses mounted, Kerviel tried to conceal his bad trades by covering them with an intense red wine sauce, later switching to delicate pastry horns.

At one point he managed to dispose of dozens of transactions by hiding them inside vol-au-vent cases and staging a fake reception.

Last night a spokesman for Sócíété Générálé denied that Kerviel was overworked, insisting he lost the money after betting that the French were about to stop being rude, lazy, arrogant b'stards.

A young geordie lad moved to London and went to Harrods looking for a job.

The manager asked “Do you have any sales experience?”

The young man answered “aye, hods, I was a canny salesman back in Lamington”

The manager liked the Geordie so he gave him the job

Hiss first day on the job was challenging and busy, but he got through it. After the store was locked up the manager came down and asked “OK, so how many sales did you make today?”

The Geordie said “Just the one, Marra”

The manager groaned and continued “Just one? Our sales people average 20 or 30 sales a day. How much was the sale for?”

…“£124,237.64” replied the Geordie.

The manager choked “£124,237.64, what the hell did you sell him?”

“well, forst I selt him a small fish hook, then a medium fish hook and then I selt him a new fishing rod.

“Ner, nah…..he came in here to buy a box of tampons for his ladyfriend and I said…..’Well, since ya weekends f***ed mate, you might as well gan fishing!”
