Good enough CB. Rydal Falls, next door to the Rydal Hall Teashop and on the Fairfield Horseshoe. Lovely spot for a brew stop. Away ya go...

under the moon bollox, it's clearly a fake - the shadow's coming from completely the wrong angle.

 Devils Tor
It looks like Mount Keen from Brad Cairn, but that's in Scotland?
 No one got it yet?

Well it had me really puzzled and it looks so familiar, so I have clean out my kit ROOM and thought about this..... I think it is Haytor Rocks (an unusual aspect) taken from the central avenue beside the Southern side of the Eastern butress looking across to the Western Buttress (or the Lowman). The Lowman looks far more impressive when viewed from the West, but from this aspect it looks like a deflated smurfs hat. Ok so I am probably wrong on this one but that is the impression it leaves me with....

OK. 'Tis the northern part of Dartmoor. I'll narrow down the area a bit more though. It's no further east than Oke Tor, no further south than Okement Hill, no further west than Lints Tor, & no further north than Yes Tor. It might or might not be any of those places mentioned
Oh, and as you can see from the (very real) shadow (thank you Katie), I am south of the feature on the skyline.
I'd say just south of Oke Tor or Lints Tor, but it looks too flat for Lints tor
Dinger tor? and i'm a bit worried Bill, what are Curtery Clitters?
Oke Tor CB that is a durimg the day pic ? the shadow looked queit short for winter and it does have that long exposure full moon look to it
