 21st August 2008
These pictures are from a "touristy" afternoon on Thursday. Apologies for the delay in posting, after a fantastic day walking on Friday I had a really severe "flare up" of the Rheumatoid Arthritis which meant no keyboard work. Edith as done a lot of the work on the presentation therefore not as much info as normal. For those wishing to view the pictures are now on the website. Another dour dull day on the NW Lancashire coast and a lunchtime appointment with a car salesman keen to earn his commission meant we had very little time available. Therefore we just popped up the road for a short walk along the Lancaster canal near Borwick. The pictures for the walk are now on the website located in the "Other Pictures" section Regards, Dave http://www.wainwright-wanderings.co.uk/

 1st September 2008
On Monday morning after an early morning visit to the doctors for my regular "blood letting" we took delivery of the new car. When the weather started to brighten around 11:15am I decided it was time to introduce said car to the delights of Lakeland with a run over the Kirkstone Pass to Glenridding. Along the way I took a few pictures which are now located in the "Visions of Cumbria" section of the website for those wishing to view. Regards, Dave http://www.wainwright-wanderings.co.uk/

The Return from Ennerdale 12th September 2008
The return from Ennerdale took us to the quiet western road around Thirlmere from where on a still, murky morning I managed to get a few reflections in Thirlmere. It was then to Low Sizergh Barn in the south of the county where I had a walk around the "Farm Trail" whilst Edith perused the many offerings in the shop. Pictures for those wishing to view are now in the "Visions of Cumbria" section of the website. Regards, Dave http://www.wainwright-wanderings.co.uk/

30th October 2008 Anside & Silverdale AONB Arnside Knott from the top road.
A peculiar sort of day. Visibility was great but very low light levels seemed to this "point & shoot" merchant, to make taking a decent picture very difficult. Pictures for those wishing to view are now available on the website. Regards, Dave http://www.wainwright-wanderings.co.uk/
