The text was copied from a TV listing. Cameron was actually on the Mamores. There was surfing from Thurso but the main item which took up most of the programme, lasted an hour, was the Mountain Biking held recently in Fort William. However next month they are showing the TGO challenge and the Cape Wrath challenge. No date was given at the end of the programme so hopefully I will remember to check TV listings nearer the time. I don't think you will receive it south of the border unless through Sky or the like. (too technical for me)

It's probably because I haven't bought my Scottish TV license! I might pick it up in Donegal though, you never know, very ingenious those Irish when it comes to picking up British TV. I think they got tips off Paddy.

Wednesday night's new jungle expedition to find new plant and animal biodiversity in the South American Guyanan rainforest is a real treat too. It is the Lost Land of the Jaguar on BBC1 at 8pm. It is focussing on the insect and spider life tonight. There is one big tarantula in tonight's episode. http://www.bbc.co.uk/sn/tvradio/programmes/jaguar/

If anone else is at home not working right now there's a great film on BBC2 a short while later on this morning. BBC2, Never Cry Wolf at 11.20am. It is a true wildlife wolf story from the Canadian tundra. I saw it years ago and recall it had some nice outdoors scenery.

I don't know if the BBC's advertisement for Alladale Estate is entering a new season, or of they are merely re-showing the series that is just finishing on Monday, but the tv listings has : The Real Monarch of the Glen <!-- END titleInfo --> Friday 15 August 7:00pm - 7:30pm BBC2 Scotland VIDEO Plus+: 2283 source: Radio Times A brand new series. It says. No mention of it being a repeat.

Will he get killed in the end too maybe do you think, like the Laird in the first series of Monarch of the Glen on the BBC too then perhaps? I recall the dog brought back a dynamite stick he had thrown or something silly. Richard Briars it was.

I was indeed posting with his thoughts upon the subject in mind there you know!!

" a dynamite stick ". Now now, only one. If you've got to do something get it right. I hear there's some cheap s....x going if you know where to look
Ah well, it would never happen that he would be thrown out of his home as he'd appeal under the Human Rights act for a right to private life but really he's made his life public trying to stop all us good public folk using the land we've so come to love and enjoy.

Yes Simon. This storyline was how the first Laird in that BBC tv show was killed off, when his dog fetched back the dynamite stick he had thrown into the lake on his estate, I seem to remember. I think he was just fishing or something at the time. The series really went downhill fast when Richard Briars left it too I recall! I notice tonight that this BBC2 friday 15th August programme, The Real Monarch of the Glen, is in fact the first show in a six part series!!!
