I was curious to see the 2g pegs - must be good for some things though; how long are they, might be good for holding my bivvy sheet in place in the Hex?

I hope your wife cannot read!

Damned right if it stood up to that lot; was it yours the lineloks went on, or someone else's?

They do look a bit fragile (I have them on a couple of tents) - but I think they are the same one's they use on boats FFS.

yes the lineloks split causing the guys to loosen.i am now looking for an alternative as the tent was not going anywhere.i could of happily slept in it the night.the only other thing that happened was i took the rucksack out so rocky could move his sleeping bag and mat in,so there wasnt really any weight holding it down.

i have been looking at the exped guyline tensioners which look good so might have to buy some.have even looked into the special knot that can be used for guylines.i cant remember what its called but i can move it so its no good.

I had not seen the Exped one's before.

My Hilly Staika has some seriously solid lineloks on it - metal; I was going to replace them with others I got....but will not bother now!

Are you coming to the BBeacons meet?
