My Velez is in the ultra pale green. I got it as an experiment, cos I wasn't sure how I'd get on with Paramo, and was able to conduct my experiment cos it was being flogged off dirt cheap, presumably because it was one of the "unpleasant ones left on the rails"!!

This is why I want the Ladies Adventure in cobalt or black single colour.

Just as a point of interest...

i went for a 10k run tonight on the moors. Piddling it down with rain and 50yrds vis in cloud. wearing a velez smock (dry flow underneath) and a pair of fuera (sp) trousers.

At times I felt warm - but there were some sections I was grateful...!

The trousers (although only windproof) didnt leak at all and dealt with my moisture very well.

None of it was Black - but I do have a black cascada and a red Alta and a green Viento...

It was pissing it down on the moor Parky - so I thought I would experiment...

Ron Hills would have been more comfortable but my legs would be cold and wet.

I love Ron Hills. Not the bloke, just the Tracksters. Tracksters, desert wellies & unit t-shirt & Helly Hansen field jacket. Sartorial disaster, but so de rigeur in certain military circles
