I could be up for this on that weekend, I'll keep an eye on this thread.

I've been speaking with my brother in law who is interested in coming if its the Saturday 31.

What we need is date, time, location etc and we're there.

Wait for Jules to come back from another holiday.

Hi back from hols, Hungary is brilliant.

Tides are rubish for climbing 3 cliffs or Caswell this weekend so its either indoors or if Simon has any good sugestions for non tidal stuff. .

Not been there but I think Boiler slab might be a possibility?

Jules, I'm open to suggestions of where to go.  I can travel anywhere.

In case its Boiler slab, where's that?

But if its indoors Dynamic Rock sounds good.  Been there today with my little ones.

OK How about Dynamic Rock sat for those who want to start indoors then Boiler slab on sun, its down Gower.

What time do we want to meet at Dynamic Rock, opening time so we get the pick but I know thats 10 am.  How does that sound.

I suppose we'll spend a couple of hours or so which may mean I can also come on Sunday.

See you there.

OK 10am sounds good to me.

Anyone mind if I tag along on saturday? very keen to get started, and Dynamic rock would be perfect as I can hire the gear I'll need.

Taran, you looking to do the taster course?
Show/hide user stats

I'll do my best to make it on Saturday, can't make Sunday, unfortunately, as I've already arranged to go walking.

I've already done the Climbing Intro Course at Dynamic Rock back in March, it'll be good to get back and try it again.

No Kate, hav'nt done the taster course yet,but keen to get started with experienced climbing folk.Is it compulsory to do the course?

I dunno, Taran, I was hoping to get over and maybe do the taster as I haven't been climbing in 25 years and the kit's changed a bit!! But I also need to get out for a walk so I'm going to have to do that tomorrow instead I suspect, and then work the rest of the weekend.

Aye,its been around 15 years since I went near a rope! lots to learn again methinks.I do scrambles fairly regularly though,so am no stranger to rock...just the vertical sort!

Thats no prob Tarren, I will wait in the Cafe as you may need a member to sign you in.Its not compulsary at Dynamic Rock to do the taster with them, I can sign to say I will check your knots and generaly make sure you are ok.

So far we have me Simon Tarren and Trek, anyone else?

Have a good time anyway, all of you.

I'll think of you lounging around as I tramp up the north face of Pen y Fan in my training for doing a munro in the summer

Good luck with pen y fan kate, hope the weather is good for you.Was up there myself a few weeks ago on a very windy day,it was fun though.

Sorry I couldn't make Dynamic Rock today.  Perhaps next time you all meet let me know.

Hope you guys had a good time at Dynamic Rock. I had a great walk up Pen y Fan, over to Cribyn, and up Pen y Fan again for good measure! Gosh, that's one big hill when you're approaching it from the north or east!!

Thts OK Trek, another time. Sometimes real life gets in the way of having fun

Kate we waved at you on top of the mountain on our way to Brecon this afternoon, but you never waved back

Aw, sorry Jules. Though I spent as little time on top of Pen y Fan as possible, especially the second time when it was swarming!

Did you have a nice afternoon in Brecon? Did you go there for tea?
