well, the good thing about the mountains is that they are always there........

alas I dont know how many more trips to the central beacons I will be able to make in the near future as I am moving away to Burton on Trent

however there is a Beacons OM meet in June based around Llanthony Priory if you are interested.......just see the Windy thread.......

Thanks Dave, I could be very interested. BTW there are nearly 30000 posts on the windy thread, could you narrow it down to the nearest 5,000

Weather Monday and Tuesday looking good according to AccuWeather.com so it looks as though it's on. I have been a bit unwell with a chest infection again and although it slowed me right down, it didn't stop me walking and camping a week last Friday and Saturday (cracking thunder and lightening). Things had worsened by the time I got home though so lots of bloccing from the TOH and now getting grief about plans for Mon/Tues, "You really are trying to kill yourself aren't you, you stubborn pillock?"

Think I'll go to my daughter's and son in law's for Thursday and Friday. At least they won't bloc me and call me a pillock.

Is the LC a poor mans Akto?
The Akto is a fat mans LC.

ok so an akto is extravagent

a laser comp is conservative

red is extroverted

green is introverted

so  if you have a green LC, you are conservatively introverted and if you have a red akto you a flashy git.........

I've got a green Laserlite (pre LC) and i've been known to run around naked after a few sherries.

Used it once on rum and broke it.  Wind got too strong and it snapped the pole in 2.  Although the Terra Nova quasar that was also there was getting ripped out the ground so its probably a bit unfair to condemn it for that!

So I am now an extrovert conservative?  So that's why I run around naked, covered in woad after a few Cheries.

Ha! So it's your fault that we're now living in a conservative county, is it, Mal?

Oh, what wicked dart. Conservative? Moi? Never, as long as my fundamental orifice remains perforate!

Not how my old Dad would have put it but I'm sure he would approve of my less earthy rendition of the phrase he would have used.
