I always have too much to listen to and not enough time. At the moment trying to listen to :- Recent releases - Sparks - Exotic Creatures of the Deep, Joe Jackson - Rain, Seth Lakeman - Poor Mans Heaven, Karine Polwart - This Earthly Spell, Nick Cave - Dig Lazarus Dig (+ the Grinderman album), REM- Accelerate, Seasick Steve - Dog House Music to name a few. Oldies - ELP, Uriah Heep and UFO but I'm constantly changing.

Right now it's Bernie Marsden, 'Hideaway'. Wonderful stuff.

The last CD I bught was a reggae compilation, with some cracking 70's style stuff on it: Junior Murvin, Greory Isaacs, all that stuff. I often listen to the Chillies, or the Foo Fighters. Sometimes english folk music, or if I'm singing along to keep myself awake on the way home after a night shift, a bit of Dean Martin usually does the trick. Also, Stax and Motown.

CSNY mostly for me, both together and the solo stuff. From original albums right up to current. I like a good little bit of John Denver every once in a while as well. John Cougar Mellencamp old stuff is what I'm into right now though.

At this very moment, listening to "What Love?" by Charlie Mingus from Mingus at Antibes (I'm in the process of listening to all tracks on my iPod starting with "What..."). Quite into 20s and 30s pop (Cliff Edwards, Al Bowlly, Vaughn De Leath, ...) and early blues. Otherwise into folk / blues stuff - Hazmat Modine, Kelly Joe Phelps, John Martyn, Chris Smither, Bob Brozman. Looking forward to seeing the 'geek troubadour' Jonathan Coulton in October. Just moved on to "What to do" by OK Go. Now "Whatever happened to Trailcast?" by that popular beat combo Backpackinglight Audio Interviews.

Kate go get it put it on and enjoy, its a little different than the other 3 i must say but when you have listened to it about 20 times like myself since i bought it Sunday it really is a top album. If you note that the whole album is based around death and ghosts and stuff then you will understand it a little quicker . ... Im listening to Coldplay`s new one at the mo........Can you tell? ....

Martha Wainwright - "i know you're married, but i've got feelings too" - not as good as her first cd, but growing on me. Also Duffy - "Rockferry", and still like a bit of Greenday and Springsteen or lots of others.

Sorry Glyn! I thought they enjoyed a hit with a cover version of that song. Definitely my imagination then!
