If he doesn't respond unhappily you may conclude that he's either had a stroke through rage-induced hypertension or you're on his "Ignore member" function

It's just a further example, if any was needed, of the BBC wasting revenue. As I don't pay a penny into the system, I couldn't care less about the wastage. However, it SHOULD concern those who DO pay into the system!
Yes Paddy, but don't they spend some of our hard earned persecuting you?

I reckon the BBC gives good value for money. I listen to various BBC radio stations daily when at home and usually watch some TV during the week (mostl recently the Lister programme). I like having a broadcaster without adverts and without the pressure that comes from advertising. I hate commercial radio - which doesn't offer anything much except endless music and ads - and don't like ads on TV. Commercial TV is generally of a much lower standard than the BBC too. So I'm happy to pay my licence fee each year.

Did you see Dr Who at the weekend - top class

I did see Dr Who and I agree. This series has been excellent overall.

Yes Tony - they do - and I'm more than happy for them to spend even more...

But are YOU happy for them to spend even more by charging you even more?

Hey you two - stop winding Paddy up.

I can hear him saying, "Dr Who?"

You started it
Er - I didn't Kinley, the title of my thread was?

LOL - I'll play you at hide and seek any day Tony - masterful concealment, I don't know how he managed to find the thread

Dr Who? It's not been the same since Bill Hartnell!

It probably provides me with more entertainment than many of their programmes, so money well spent in my book...
