Great pic of Bothy life.

Have you read Mountain days & Bothy nights?

Yes, really definitely excellent portrait moment captured to film there. Unusual, in that even so obviously up close, the photographer still managed to grab that most elusive but magical 'candid' moment feel here.Quite outstanding, most lovely.

Actually, come to think of it does this photo not remind anyone else of the byegone days of late 1950's cafe type 'Angry Young Man' culture then? It is the moodiness of the shot, with an atmosphere added to by using black and white film as the chosen photographic medium too maybe.Or am I just talking bollocks again perhaps?

I wonder what it is they're gazing at?

They're probably hiding in the back, waiting for the drunk psycho in the next room to pass out.

I've seen similar expressions whilst in the waiting room for the knob doctor.

OK, daft question - what were you doing there?

Knob doctor.
I think they've all run out of fags. The guy on the right is reduced to smoking an imaginary one.

Have you ever thought of becoming one? I think your surnames perfect for it.
