Blimey! Only 16 coming so far (and thats including us!) - I thought this was supposed to be a supermeet !! Ok looking at this, we have 4 people for scrambling which is one third less than I was expecting and if it stays at those numbers guys, I'm afraid the price is going to have to go up by £15 per head to £75 each - still good value for a full day learning the ropes (so to speak!)

What's gonna be best in this situation is if I split you down into two twos, Kelvin, I'll work with you and your partner on the Saturday and Richard G and happy blonde, I'll take you two out on the Sunday.

Is this OK with you all? If anyone's not happy about anything or has any questions please pm me rightaway!

I think we'll join the rest of you campers as well. There's got to be a good reason why non of you are using the bunkhouse, so how much is it to camp (based on two in a tent ands a car)

I hear Wayne pulled out - anyone any idea why?

I look forward to hearing from you

Regards

Iain.

Well as I said Kelvin, I'm quite happy to take two lots of two out - its not a problem, you'll just need to find an extra £15 each. At £75 per head for a full days scrambling tuition, its still good value. The price of £60 per head was  based on 6 people taking the places - something which Dave & I thought would be a dead cert at a Supermeet.

I have to say I'm absolutely amazed at the lack of turnout for this event! I really can't work it out at all unless the credit crunch has bitten deeper in to peoples pockets than I thought

I'd be up for this meet but as you've probably noticed this is my first post on here so is it a bit cheeky for me to ask to come along?  The navigation and scrambling workshops would interest me.

You'll be very welcome, whether it's your first post or 10,000th post. Just add your name to the bottom of the list when you're sure. I think scrambling is now full but it makes sense to have a reserve list in case someone has to drop out.

I know there's a small cost involved with the photography, but not sure how much. Hopefully Steve will know soon.

Looks like we've got enough for scrambling the days then and its good to see that things have perked up a bit.

I only learned from Dave Mycroft a few days ago that he's not collected payment for the scrambling from any of you so can you all please bring £60 in cash with you on the day.

I've not had any responses from any of you with regards to who wants to go scrambling on which day, its not that important as long as I've got three on either day, you can sort it out prior to meeting up or just when we get there.

Do any of you need helmets & harnesses? Let me know please.

Scrambling will indeed take place on Tryfan where there are a multitude of routes, hard & easy and also the walk-in is minimal compared with other areas meaning more time actually scrambling.

Regards

Iain

Hi Iain - myself and Martyn have no helmets or harnesses... hope you can help. I'm the fat one needing a 35in waist and Mart I know is a 31/32.

CASH will be waiting chap, no worries. We'll be getting there Fri eve so will try and catch up with you then if you're about.

Sorry Iain, but it's been stated clearly from the outset, to both members and workshop providers, that payment arrangements are to be made directly between members and workshop providers where a payment is required. The same applies to booking the campsite or bunkhouse. If you look back through the two threads you'll see this clearly stated from the begining.
