I was up in the Langdale last Thurs & Fri with my brother, had a great wild camp behind Harrison Stickle, cloud was so thick I nearly lost the tent when I went out for a pee. Weather and walking on the Thursday was great...not so good on the Friday with lots of rain etc. Tempted to join you all for what will be a great weekend.

Nowt better than Export when it comes to lager... unless of course we are talking canned lager, then it's all about the Red Stripe

Isn't that the only way beer should be?!

I know that November in the Lakes is going to be wet and windy...

Nah, it's going to be a glorious frosty weekend with cloudless blue skies!  Well that's what I ordered anyway...

Hope you make it Sukute.

You can count me in for this one. I've wanted to come to a meet for a while, but have never got round to it. I'm not sure I can be arsed wild camping, so I'll probably pitch down at the National Trust camp site in Langdale. I'll be driving up from Halifax, West Yorkshire, so if anyone else in the area or on the way needs a lift, let me know.

Cheers, Rob D.

Unfortunately my finances can't stretch to accomodate this meet this month so I won't be on the list anymore, I'm not really in an OM mood at the moment either, with the exception of a few people and threads sadly its probably the only place in my life that I find negative feelings these days and I've better things to do with my life than be bothered by stupid people tbh so sadly I won't be at this one. Sorry folk!

Edit: by other thread I meant the WHW one not the quotes one!

Well... today you'd have difficulty telling which bits were the lakes and which bits were the fells. The rain isn't just coming down, it's bouncing back up as well. Mountain rescue teams have had to withdraw, in favour of the RNLI!
