Some Fjallraven stuff short sleeved sport wool t shirts for ~£12 in the Manchester (city center) branch. Filed under golfing tops iirc Seemingly very like a Bionic but without the reflective patches or the different coloured seams so fine for casual wear too. The odd Fjallraven fleece around too.

 > CP, the Glymur Softshell is a mens fit, its just extremely athelticly cut" like a triangle shape" Ah, yes, that's possible. I'm skinny, but, sadly, certainly not a 'wedge-shaped superhero'... But, going back to my comments, I also thought they were women's because of the sizing; I couldn't fit into 'my size' (S), and had to go up a L to get into the thing. And I'm pretty sure that Icelanders are generally built quite large... It's possible the different shops have different stock. Anyway; if it fits and you think it's a bargain, what does it matter what sex it's 'supposed to be'?

Indeed i Agree CP, just today i have treated myself to a Cintiamani brynjar fleece top from the Manchester branch" huge one on market street? i think". I paid a whole £20 for it, reduced from £70. It also has a hood, which i was most happy with. The manchester branch i went into today had Skolsdat softshells, 66N softshells, waterproof jacket and baselayers, Merrell windshirts, Cintiamani softshells and fleeces, Vaude stetch tops and block insulators, Fjall raven fleeces and jackets, and the normal amount of crags/ sprayway gear. I was most impressed by the range. will

I have seen the 66n Down jackets in green at one of my local TKM stores but they were priced at £99.99.Anyone seen them in any other colours?
|
 |
Reference post from Trentham Walker the only 66n Down Jackets I have seen recently are the ones in Green priced at £99.99 in the Stafford Branch. They did have the odd one in other colours in the Stoke-Hanley Branch the other week and I think these were priced at the £80 mentioned in previous postings on this thread. I am not sure if the TX Maxx price labels yet reflect the 2.5% VAT reduction if not it will be taken off at the till so the price you pay may may be a few £'s cheaper.

Leeds Centre: No ladies' Marmot gear left except one insulated jacket in XL. BUT plenty of Hunter wellies at 66% off if you need decent boots for muddy fields or coast hugging. Quite a few bits of men's Marmot gear according to my male spy.

500 mill sigg bottles at 4.95 a pop. Ok they have some ghastly chrimbo sort of print on them but a couple of dints and scratches and I'll be none the wiser.
