The Lowe stuff currently in TKM is a lot of 'sample' stuff, also seen on sale elsewhere. It's a hell of a lot of samples IMHO... And it's all size 'M', or 12. No other sizes about.

It could be that they got the sizing wrong in these samples, but the item itself is marked 'M', both on the hang tag, and the tag in the garment, so it's not simply a TKM problem.

I'm used to expecting errors in TKM's racking; partly due to the staff incompetence/boredom, and partly due to chavs moving stuff about. I regularly find women's stuff in the men's section, and vice versa... Normally, I helpfully hang it on the end of the rack, in an attempt to highlight the problem to the staff. I expect the drones simply pick it up and re-rack it...

The Ninja Hoody I had to return was from Snow&Rock, not TKM, so it looks as if Lowe went a bit bonkers with their sizing at some point.

Just got back from the middlesbrough store, they had lots of gloves, trekmates waterproof ones along with some gortex gloves reduced from £50 to £30.

They also had a fair few jackets and waterproof trousers at decent prices.

Yeah, I'd seen all the gloves as well. Was very disappointed not to find any Mountain Eqt for a fiver ;-D.

got lowe alpine jackets at £39:99 in my tk maxx P/Code dy11 kidderminster but they are they colour of a brown austin allegro aka Dog 541t brown. not nice at all. still a load of sprayway kit though.

Last time I went in to the epsom branch that had gore-tex trousers, with braces, in their clearance section. £120 reduced several times to £11. They weren't in my size and they're probably gone now too.

just picked up a Sprayway Compact Lite GTX (retailing on the net between £125-£150) for 50 quid today in Aberdeen. Nice platinum colour as well. Well chuffed!! It takes a while to find the bargains but is well worth the effort...

GRRRRR why has the TKMaxx near me got nothing of the outdoor kind apart from reeallllly big campag fleeces and really small berghaus trousers.

Has anyone visited the leeds city centre one recently, as the one i mentioned above is the Crown Point one.

Reading had quite a few pairs of Berghaus women's Long Reach Convertible trousers for £25. Their 'Latitude' lightweight stretch nylon.

A few Sprayway Compacts for £60, too, and many of the skiing gloves now reduced. Sadly, still can't find any to fit my stubby fingers... (actually, they're not stubby, just have a very pronounced web).

Oh, and still lots of the Sprayway W's Arete GTX jkts for £70.

Actually nothing to do with TKM, but a bargain all the same. Rohan were selling off Men's Strider Soft Shell jackets at £39.99 last week(down from £99.99). I was so impressed I bought two !!

Llantrisant has the Lowe Alpine 'new season' stuff in now, so other stores probably have too - shirts, t-shirts, trousers (all size 12/M); they've also reduced their waterproof rail and have Sprayway and L-A goretex jackets starting from £50=100. Lots of Craggies trousers and Berghaus Tech-Ts.
Sorry, didn't go upstairs so I don't know what they've got for blokes.
