Leeds city centre branch - Smartwool merino l/s zip-t in lightweight & midweight.  £25 from £50.  A reasonable mix of sizes this lunchtime.

I found Smartwool 'next to skin' merino wool base layers cheap in the Colliers Wood TK Maxx.

£24.99 for top and £19.99 for bottoms

They also had a lot of cheap Cragghopper microfleeces in various sizes for about £16 and a few Cragghopper Kiwi pants in XXL...

Wish I'd found some Smartwool

But they did have women's Trek mates merino tops in Great Yarmouth and Exeter over the last few days.

Black, long sleeved, zip necked £45 down to £20

Black, long sleeved, round necked £40 down to £20

I also got a pair of Raichle 'hurricane' shoes reduced from £80 to £30 - there was just the one pair but they may be worth looking out for in other stores. They're a 2005 design.

Also, it seems that some branches of TK MAxx are currently running a 'Final Clearance' sale. Basingstoke certainly is.

I picked up a couple of bargains (<10% of rrp), and thought they were good prices. Only to get to the checkout and be told that one of the items was now 1/3 of the marked SALE price... So that was 2.8% of rrp!

May be worth checking to see if your local has a final clearout sale going...

I was in TKMAXX in Wolves today & there's loads of outdoor stuff & accessories, didn't recognise the "label" you mentioned, but then i'm a newby so not sure what it is..sounds like something you buy from a pet shop or get cream for!

Smartwool comes in boxe so you would find it on a shelf somewhere.

Leeds TKM only has smartwool in XXL but they do have Sigg bottles and Maglites and Maglite-a-likes as well as real ones.

Took me ages to find them at the back of men's undies.
