Just happened to be in Nottingham yesterday so I looked at the TKMaxx there, not a single outdoor brand to be seen. I guess its a little too "in the city" for it.

Some Merrell stuff in the Long Eaton branch if that helps! Nottingham people think LE is in the Sticks anyway! However none of the fabled Salomon running shoes in either LE or Derby. Looking for a chance to try Burton...

Some decent Sprayway 3in1's in Liverpool for £50 Mens size L

Got a goergeous pair of "miss sixty" boots, Black leather biker style, lined with red leather and with red enameled buckles for £29 reduced from £125, had to plan a night out in Hull with my mate soley for the purpose of wearing them
:-))))
Have they got a Vibram sole? Are they Gore-tex lined?
;-)
Jules - any reason it had to be Hull? ;-)
Yeah, brilliant rock club there called Spiders and Friday nights its all good old fashiond chezzy rock, and they do these big green cocktails that make your pee go green but dont give you a hangover, what more could you ask ?
CP Nah no vibram and who wants gortex when its lined with bright red baby soft leather?
I only asked as an exile of that much maligned City! Glad you enjoyed yourself!
The fame of Spiders is nationwide. Still, Rock City's a lot closer for me!
Or "Sparders" as it's known 'ull. Sorry, you need to know the Hull accent to appreciate that!
Dad's a Yorkshireman. No explanation required. That said, it sorta works in a Derbyshire accent too.
I've had a parnt of marld in Sparders although the brandy and chocolate milk cocktails whose name escapes me were far more fun.
My local TKmaxs (I'm spoilt) have not got anything exciting in at the mo

The "fabled" Salomon Running shoes were apparently at Cambridge, it's just something my work mate mentioned to me as we sell them at our shop for £75 (and therefore can buy them for £40 anyway). Sounded a bit too good to be true, but you never know...

Got a pair of Patagonia Rythm trousers at Kilmarnock branch - £13 reduced from £60 in the clearnace section. First trousers with a double fly - novel!

Unless you're really desperate for a wee after several parnts a marld.

Picked up a patagucci scythe jacket in the Chelmsford branch recently (£99) in beautiful bright orange - looking forward to being more comfortable and visible on the slopes this winter. If only I could find some matching trousers.
The Colchester branch was full of patagucci capeline socks @ £5 a pair last Sunday.

Lots of ski gear in Leeds branch today. Usual suspects of Columbia/Regatta/Craggy jackets and fleeces.
Good selection of Salomon and Bridgedale socks - got 2 pairs of luxury Sal ski socks reduced from £17 to £7 and 2 pairs of half-price Bridgedales. Bob likewise.
