You have to go, ed, you're the dish of the day!
I am still cogitating Oh for goodness sake, get on with it! At least if you're not going offer your place to someone who's not scared off by a bit of dampness in the forecast!
OK if anyone wants my place a mere cover of the £ will do it

 1. Milly - Can i arrive in my little noddy car (who else is driving)? (After I've had my new clutch fitted tomorrow, ouch....) 2. Wot have we agreed about group nosh? (I'll bring cooker again) 3. Zoe - I've got a meeting Friday and unlikely to be there before 7pm now so guess rules out Cat Bells Fri afternoon 4. All - are we deciding routes on Friday evening (as we sip ourselves into Whiskey heaven?)
1. Yup, the noddy car can come along. That makes your car, my car (giving G a lift and will retrieve Ed from a bus stop if he changes his mind), Tim's posh car, Fenwick's car and presumably Paul S's, so one too many....they'll cope I think. 2. I don't think we've reached a decision on group nosh....I'm home now, so shall I make a big pan of something* to eat on Friday? Peeps bring your own rice, pasta, naan to eat with it??? 4. Sounds good. We can look out of the window and decide what might be suitable for the weather... * not scouse, as ed has been scornful...
Excellent plan, Milly. I still have toothache and am feeling grumpy. But I'm going to try to come anyway...
Grumpy All the more reason to come.... I'll make a batch of something not too chewy, shall I? Errr, didn't you have the offending tooth extracted???
I had one tooth extracted, then a few days later I got an abcess in this one . They're the only two teeth I've ever had filled- both at the same time just over a year ago. Before I had the fillings I'd never had any problems... Having this tooth out on April 7th, but on antibiotics to get rid of the abcess first. Grump.
Go, take your mind off the misery.
You're probably right, Kate. Tell you what, I've never had anything (illness or otherwise) that is so continuously exhausting as bloody toothache! I probably will come- but no whisky for me!
I probably will come- but no whisky for me!
Surely enough whisky will dull the toothache
At Black Sail it dulled only the conversation
 merely jesting....
Ed, I mentioned to Lollipot that you're offering your barn place, but she says she's not coming out to play this weekend, needs to wax her skis or something
 Or something....the mind boggles..

But Edwin isn't coming......
But a big pan of something might be better than scouse.... It's work in progress now And I'll believe Ed isn't coming when I don't have a missed call requesting that I fetch him, this very minute, from a bus stop near Scotch Corner
Ok the little tinker So do I need "plain" rice or "pilau"?
Do we need to bring pans? I can't remember...
Don't get excited, I don't have time to make beef rendang It's just a slightly spicy gloop that's fine with pasta or rice... <am I selling it to you here?>
