'Mad' - see? I've never met Ellie, but sounds like she's as good a judge of character as me!!

I'd just like to thank Iain for organising this trip and everyone else for being such great company. This trip more than lived up to my expectations and I'm really chuffed to have now got all of Skye's Munro's under my belt. The accommodation was great with fantastic views right on the door step and the fresh shellfish from the beach were just superb! Ok a bigger kitchen and a second toilet would've been nice but for the money I don't think we have cause to grumble. If I go again next year (I'd like to) then I must remember to take some ear plugs cos Kelvin can't half snore! Thanks again to everyone for some great memories and hopefully I'll get to see you all again soon.

Fantastic pictures everyone. I WANT TO GO!!! Every year I am really envious reading everyones planning/reports. Unfortunately I am a teacher and can only go in school hols. Surely you must have a spare week during the 4 months holiday teachers get?

lol it is suprising how you can fill up 3 months! Trouble is finding others who want to do the ridge and are available at same time.

Should I organise two Skye meets in a year? One in May and one in say - September???
Dunno mate - I'll be in Iran then hopefully. Maybe worth sending a pm to those who missed out last week and see what they think about a Sept?
I can't commit to anything here, let alone identify proper dates, however I do plan on heading to Skye in the autumn. I had been looking at options so if Iain's dates suit I would go for it. I have loads of holiday but getting to take it is the drama!

OK, looks like there may be some interest for a OM September Skye Meet! Let me look into accommodation then we'll take from there. I'll be back on here soon. Regards Iain

Anytime in the 6 weeks summer school hols would be great
That won't be September then?
Unfortunately not - July/Aug usually.

OK folks. OM Skye Meet, September 11th - 18th 2010. I have managed to secure the cottage again during this week and there are six places available. The meet will be run along the same lines as the original one just finished recently in May. The cost is the same - £350 gets you 7 nights self catering accommodation plus either a guided traverse of the ridge (usually the main objective) or two days guiding on classic Cuillin scrambles of your choice. If you are interested and want to see how the last trip went then backtrack along this thread. Do we have any interest? Regards Iain

Hi folks, I've finally managed to get the KMS blog up to date and my reports of the individual four days we had on the ridge can be read at http://www.blog.kendalmountaineeringservices.co.uk/2010/06/om-skye-meet-may-15th-22nd-cuillin.html If you were a participant of this Skye Meet, then feel free to post a comment on the blog although I think you'll need to have a google account yourself in order to be able to do so. If I have also been inaccurate in any way with my accounts, can you please let me know asap in order that they can be changed/rectified. Look forward to hearing from you all. Cheers Iain

Ha, fabulous account Iain, spot on. Seems like months ago now though!

I'm very interested in this, what equipment do we need to have? So the price includes everything minus getting up to Skye?
