Stop, stop! Bad (blurred) memories.

...and we always used to go to the woods to drink it, whilst trying to look moody in ours Smiths T-shirts and failing to get off with any girls...

Actually, as I recall, the choice of alcohol was generally calculated to attract the girls (Mirage and Taboo seemed to be favourites), but then any reference to Morissey would be off-putting...

As true now as it was then...

Had some 20/20 quite recently at a "what you drank under age" themed party, very weird, still tasted good though!!!!

it's 26' in my office................... think I'm passing out!!!!!!

Was the first of the alcopops, and if I recall it tasted like cheap orange squash with paint thinners. Sainsbury's extra dry cider was also a winner. We're sort of deviating a bit. Do any of these products work on stings or bites? Do we have a volunteer to test them? Do I have to find an old Jesus and Mary Chain teeshirt for it to work?

I don't remember ever being bitten by anything during the period of my life that I was drinking that stuff. The smell was probably enough to send the little blighters flying off in someone else's direction...

I am sad to say that I still have a a Black Sabbath t-shirt somewhere and also.......a FAME t-shirt.

<bows head in shame and embarrassment>

Anyone want to borrow them?

Nothing wrong with Black Sabbath. Especially after a good dose of Thunderbird!

Fairys wear boots and you gotta believe it.

Prety erm, diverse tastes by all accounts...

I saw it with my own two eyes!

They don't write lyrics like that anymore..

What, Genesis!? And you named after one of the Beastie Boys...
Show/hide user stats
No, Black Sabbath. I too think of 'Danger Mike' Mike D whenever listening to the Beastie Boys. Does he know about his namesake?
Show/hide user stats
Was only fooling, although the closest I've got to Sabbath was 1000 Homo DJ's blistering cover of Supernaut.

Who? God, I feel old.
Show/hide user stats
Ditto (the scary thing is I'm not THAT old)

Maybe too young; it came out fourteen years ago! Was an offshoot of Ministry / NIN - see http://www.sogoth.net/bands.php?showband=444.

This is turning out to be quite a random thread - bites - electrocution - clothing of the 80s and 90s - alcopops - rock music (and of course, who can forget the kids from Fame?).

The closest I got to Sabbath was at the Hammersmith Apollo when they did that first tour with Ronnie James Dio (Heaven and Hell tour - I was 15!!!), it was mega! Mind you we sat behind a load of scary looking hairy biker Hells Angel sorts (who acatually turned out to be a bunch of sweeties in the end) who smoked something that smelt like my fathers old socks. I came out feeling very fuzzy headed and dozey, I had very strange dreams on the coach back to Wiltshire that night, heaven knows what it was...

Probably their father's old socks.
