hi all thinking of getting a paramo taiga does anyone own one?are they good also looking at fire as a colour kinda took my eye found a website selling em for £75 quid isnt this a bargain ? any help cheers all

yeh read the reviews and look very good was looking at fire red as a colour and its only 75quid well less than asking price looks a bargain was wondering if anyone had seen the fleece in fire red and what it looked like you see ??

 I've got a Taiga (in Turqoise)- its a good bit of kit - nice and long, not too hot, highly water resistant, plenty of pockets. The red version looks good, but it is a pretty bright red so if your not into bright colours...

 I believe they used to call the red "fire" which tells you a lot about the brightness !

 I've seen other Paramo tops in the red, and I think it's really nice. I almost bought a red Velez, but went for the burned orangey colour instead. I think the bright colours look really good out in the hills on wintry days :)

 I think the bright colours look like an invading tribe. Thank goodness they have seen sense and are doing stealth black this year <phew>. The racks and racks of all-the-same-gaudy-yet-yuk colours in shops put me right off.

New members of the collective wear red, green & turquoise.
Although, as my granny used to say, "red and green should n'er be seen", the Borg Analogy are prepared to make exceptions.

I like the paramo red but this red is not to my taste. I hgave red valez and aspira but the fleece red is a bit paler but still bright, it reminds me of 1980's athena shops :)

lol yeh just been and ordered the red taiga fleece for 75 quid from an online retailer i asked him if i didnt like it can i send it back lol have tried taiga fleeces on and they feel really good quality hope this red is nice because at the price its a big saving :)

 they are brill you'll love it, i got the blue one or is it black my trail shirt is green and my fuera jacket is black i got the idea from ray mears.
i'am not sure about red do you really want to look like a traffic light when your in the middle of nowhere.
