The wierd pricing is also a modern thing brought on by price comparing. For example when you do a Google product search or similar and display by cheapest first you'll see there 29.97 before a competitors £29.99.
Also, if a competitor has the same item for, say, 2p less than them, customers can go in and get the item for the 2p less plus 10%, under their price guarantee, losing them 10% of each sale for the sake of 2p.

Craghoppers stuff is very good quality, however I think they maybe sell "seconds" in their sale as I had exactly the same problem with sale items last year. Sizes of their gear I already had felt 2 sizes smaller.. I haven't gone back to the sale, but the Kiwi's in TK Maxx are great value from 16-20 quid...

I have ordered 2 pairs of the stretch trousers from the crags sale, last week and heard nowt yet!! Anyway, before I ordered them I went to gooutdoors and tried some on. I usually take a 32/34 waist but they were too small so I tried a 36" on and low and behold a perfect fit. So to be on the safe side I sent for a 34 & 36 waist in long. The big ones can always go back or i could sell em for £20
How long to they take to post stuff out?

Andy - I ordered from craghoppers last Saturday and received the parcel on Wednesday. Maybe it's time to chase it up.

Upshot is I can't wear the stretch trousers till I loose that stone I promised myself I'd lose, and even then will look a bit 1970's across the crotch if you know what I mean.

I do! Seen photies of pop stars etc from back then - those 1970s kecks looked very painful!

At least a Jewish momma could detect her daughter's new boyfriend's religion without asking....

Tried my Craghoppers stretch trousers on today and based on the post from Ninja Pussey Cat hoped they would make me look like Robert Plant in his 1970's pomp.  However I was disappointed and the fit is "relaxed and comfortable" rather than "tight" in all the wrong places.  Will now have to use them for walking in which was the reason I got them in the first place.  Well worth the £15 I paid for them.

Craghopper trousers get generally good reviews by the good folks of this forum.  Unfortunately, my wife had a pair split two days into Glyndwr's Way.  Craghoppers customer service didn't want to know even though they were a few months old, bought direct and we had plenty of pictures to show the damage.  Don't go near their gear now.
That's strange, their stuff is generally pretty baggy, not tight enough to split. Have you any idea why they did so?

I split the crotch out of my last two pairs of craghoppers.

I do have a fine pair of large, bulging, hairy...
