Geordie, don't give those people your hard earned money mate! That kit is real genuine rubbish copy army kit. They must easily be on practically 300% markup or more selling that for the price being asked for it there!

-Interesting tent, but reckon it must weigh quite heavy though! I like the fact that the vent is a stylish cone shape. As opposed to just a regular cone shape
|
 |
Not too sure that isn't a bit of a slightly exaggerated original rrp there either!
|
 |
 "Stylish cone design"? It's not even a cone; it's a square-based pyramid...

Trevor I saw that Teepee thing pitched outside at my local Go Outdoors the other day. Bit pointless if you ask me. Firstly, the inner is tiny for the overall size / weight. Second, it was swimming wet inside, so wouldn't hold out much hope for its weather-proofness. Its nothing more than an expensive kids plaything.

Some good Patagonia deals to be had from Wiggle (the bike shop). Not a huge range of sizes or colours but some very good prices.

http://www.howies.co.uk/search.php?xSearch=merino Good link there Glyn, they do seem to do a whole lot of Merino products there too. Not all on sale right now, so definitely a place to keep a watch on, in case the bottoms come up at sale prices too maybe in the future.

Whoever mentioned the england football shirts at the sport shop in Carlisle, thank you very much Popped in today whilst meeting the wife for lunch. Shirt for my 5yr old son was £10.49, shorts £4 and a triaining top was £4. Little lad has just got into football and loves them.

A bargain spotted by forum member sam09. Posted separately at a new thread, so I've transferred it here.
http://www.outdoorsmagic.com/forum/forummessages/mps/dt/1/UTN/24426/V/8/SP/ 'I Don't know if anyones interested but Snow and rock currently have the Macpac amp 35 at £40. I bought one of these earlier this year in a previous sale and it is just big enough to cope with a 2 nighter including 1.5L of water and 2 days food, 2 man tent and a down bag plus full length thermarest etc. It weighs 1.2k so not nearly as light as many others on the market but with a comfy and stable back system its a load carrier.' - Wrote sam09
