The Warehouse is an excellent climbing venue, I bought my fisrt pair of climbing shoes there. Lookout for a tallish chap with red/blonde hair and googly blue eye's, called Pete, more commonly known as 'Big Man'. Quite often to be seen wearing loud, bad taste climbing trews and appaling t-shirts. Ask him if he knows a girl called Brian!!

I know the 'not being signed out' feeling! I seem to be logged in on my other halfs PC at the moment and I have apparently been asking about firewalker sleeping bags! However, that was Rob! You would think he would notice from the picture...

Thinking of bringing the doggy, she will be O.K stuck in the car for evening pub visits but she does suffer terrible from vertigo so may have to modify walks away from sharp edge and maybe striding edge?
Any thoughts peops on striding edge for a dog that refuses to climb crowden brook?
Havn,t been for a walk without her in the U.K for over 10 years...

Jullian, as far as I remember they are happy to let dogs into the barn end bar, they let kids in anyway.

Dog are more civilised than kids in my experience - siblings like mine would put anyone off kids for life tho in fairness!

This is very true, the barn end is the sort of bar where if you dont have a smelly wet dog on a bit of string they will give you one.

I feel a rant coming on.

What's wrong with kids in general? I'm restricted by my two precisely because they are so well behaved in public, and that is partly because they go to bed at a reasonable time (at home its about 8.30, on a campsite its about 10pm) so I have to leave bars and such like to get them sorted and into their sleeping bags. It means I miss out on any late night fun, and puts me off all adult gatherings.
