 Two Thousand AD not 200.

I'm a big 2000AD fan.. but my own collection had to go a long time ago for similar reasons.. :(
I'd prefer 200AD, Judge Dredd of Mega City Mudhut.

So, it looks like I'm coming to this. Any idea of the timetable of events? I ken there's an auction Saturday night and I should be doing the scrambling course on Sunday. Anything else happening?

Nothing outside the ordinary weekend of people heading for the hills doing whatever takes their fancy.
Well as a devout southerner and european whos only experience of walks in the lakes was a bright sunny may day up langdale pikes 10 years ago I shall be looking for lots of advice on routes and places to go.Like the look of striding edge by the way...
Julian, one thing you're never short of on an OM meet is advice lol.
I'm not on the scrambling course but some friends and I want to spend the weekend practising our scrambling rope and belay skills including getting used to leading.
I've had a flick through the scramble guides to the local fells but nothing leapt out. Any suggestions on where to start? Last time we were up we did some unroped grade 2.(I like the idea of Pinnacle ridge but don't think we have the experience to lead it yet)
Ben, are you going to be at the meet? If so I can give you some details there and then , along with advice from Iain the instructor we're using. If not I'll have a look through and see what I can suggest.
Yes dave, we should be there. Hopefully will be three of us scrambling and a few more walking. We'll go three on a rope. I'd be happy to hear your suggestions, thanks.

Dave, assuming you’ve got some sort of idea how many people are turning up for this extravaganza do you advice phoning and booking up or just turning up?
The scrambling course is it pay on the day or do you want me to send you a cheque?
Will there be a quiet corner for old fogies – do we know any old fogies?
Graham, I think you'll need to book in advance if you want the bunkhouse but not if camping.
I'll be emailing participants for cheques shortly for the scrambling.
There will be a quiet corner for old fogies - just look for me and you'll find the corner ;-)
I'll be in the loud corner in the pub, but the quiet corner on the campsite! Time and a place, and all that. Pubs for socialising, tents for sleeping. Works for me :) (except the fact we now have the Mothership confuses the issue a little!)

 Nice new pic Cara.
Thanks Julie :) that was the hardest lead to date (S4b). I'm getting there, slowly :)
 Slowly my $%&!...
Yeah, Jez thats what I was thinking.

I'm a muppet and only decided I want to come now and maybe the scrambling course aswell if there's still places.
Any specialist scrambling kit needed? - I'm skint as a broom and can't afford to get any surplus :(
And could I beg enough to scav a lift of someone in Southwestish area.
Im based near Exeter but could get to London or Bristol/Bath fairly easily.

I know its soon Alex but Dave might need to know if you will be 16 by then?
Alex there's 1 place left on the sunday scrambling course - if you're really skint I can lend you a helmet, harness and HMS crab which is the only kit requirement :)
