 fantastic weekend.
thanks to everyone for making it such a great time, and to Dave, Cara and Stuey. And mustn't forget Frank and his new rucksack collection he has started :-)

what an amazing weekend! Congratulations on a successful auction.
I think that I was a bit braver this meet, and met and chatted with more of you. (and also put faces to names - I think that last time I met you but I didn't know your names)
It's always great to meet new people that have similar interests to yourself and hear stories of where they've been and their experiences. It's also interesting for me to meet the people that actually buy our gear and what they think of it and what they do in it, and your opinions about our kit and other manufacturers kit.
I hope that you all enjoyed the weekend too, and got home safely. I look forward to joining you on another meet again soon.

Congrats all and what a scorcher...
Although getting up and driving back up to S Yorkshire at 5am this morning was not fun...
|
 |
It wasn't fun getting up at 5am on Sunday morning either, although at least there was absolutely no traffic.
|
 |
Finally made it back to Cambridge at getting on for midnight last night, a lot poorer but with a much fuller car than I set off with. A very good weekend - it was great to meet some of you, and I'll definitely be up for another one soon.
I'd also like to join the chorus of thanks to everyone who obviously put so much work into making it a success - you're all stars.

Didn't you fund the MRT's for the next 5 years with your purchases at the auction ;-)

Great article Jon, can't sing the praises of Dave,Cara and Stuey enough for organising this.
Fantastic weekend, Kate enjoyed it a lot as well.
Just disappointed I didn't bump into a couple of people I wanted to meet, I must be more out going next time.

 |
Don't forget Frank! Frank also put a lot of time and effort in in organising the event and the tags for all the lots etc.
|
 |
I thought Frank was starting up a ruck sack musuem :-))
Well done Frank as well. Sorry for forgetting you.
|
 |
Well done to all!
Shame i couldnt make it and meet some of you, but what the hell theres always the 1st Aid course, and i guarantee you will be sick of the sight of me by the end of that lol.
On a MR based note its nice to see people with enough get up and go to support MR.
Every effort helps whether you are a hill going member, base support, team supporter or if you just pop a quid in a collection box when you see one.
It all helps to make the UK Mountains, Hills,Moorlands, Uplands and not forgetting the OM members in Lowland teams a safer place to be.

Sorry for the bad Grammar (before JJ sees this) lol

Got back at 2 this morning, couldn't tear myself away. Great weekend.
Oh and we met the patterdale team again yesterday in Grisedale a woman had slipped and broken her ankle unfortunatly so they were spending the cash already

Sound like it went really well. Well done for raising so much for the MRTs. Hope to make it to the next one.

Glad this was a success, sorry I couldn't make it. Will try and come to Pembrokeshire, but my friend who I was going to bring (with her car!) has smashed her car and her arm in an accident (she's recovering now, thankfully), so might have trouble getting there. Still haven't seen the Mothership!

 Ok, who switched the dates...
It was supposed to be this weekend Goddammit!
