 Ooh, there might be...

Hi All Just got back from another interview, went okay but didn't have a few of the technical skills they were after so not positive about that one. Start my contratc tomorrow and got an interview in the afternoon which has just been moved to Chesterfield from Warrington, bloody nightmare all this!! Just been into the wild camp petition thread to wind a few people up I'm sure! Btw Nicky and Myself and a mate of mine from France are staying at Rhyd Dhu camp site and doing the horseshoe on saturday or sunday if anyone fanices coming down? Now lets try this ruddy video link thing again!...

Great choice of music, Jamie!! Some nice video clips too - it was a bit blustery, wasn't it?! Best of luck with the contract and the job search...

lol, we're on Youtube, that made me smile, well done Jamie. Interviews are all good experience, you can learn a lot whether it turns out to be the right job for you or not. Aye, good luck with the new contract tomorrow.

Hi Bruce, isn't that the sort of place where people buy their kit to grow 'skunk' in the attic? Should be interesting , congratulations.
Skunk for Bruce Congrats on the job!
I am forbidden to look at your skunk pictures, Kate so could you waft some my way please
Try some of this then, MoS!
Just watched Jamie's vid with a soundtrack of Gaelic folk so I could pretend it was Scotland - excellent! What a gorgeous finch
Not quite what I had in mind, thanks, Kate
Good thing it was a Chaffinch and not a Great Tit then!! It's Wales, NNPB, you don't need to pretent it's Scotland!
This more the sort of thing you were after then?
I used to walk on Dartmoor and pretend it was Scotland. When the mist came down, you could have been anywhere.
I sometimes wish I was at the top when I'm only really only half way up, but don't think I've ever pretended I was walking anywhere else. Off to the party with our External Examiner now. He's a former colleague and good friend so it should be fun. See you later.

Theres a tiny bridge near me at a small village called Rostherne, its a place thats only a few miles from Manchesters bustling outskirts but sat on that bridge looking towards the lake and down the beautiful little stream you could be anywhere on earth, its always been my place since I discovered it and I often sit there and pretend I'm in the bonny lands! Glad you all liked the You Tube video. Did you know the walk we did was 18km, didn't feel like it! That tune was very appropriate but I tell you what, when you've heard that more than three times it really starts to get annoying! Well done on the job Bruce! I did well at my interview and the agency phoned at 6pm to say they will probably be giving me an offer in the morning. I start my contract too in the morning, and I have an interview with BT so may have to wait till after the interview with BT before I decide what to do as the BT job is a very neat package, but the smaller firm is more what I'm after now, ooh my heads in a right pickle! I can't belive I'm having these ruddy arguement on here about wild camping after the last two top weekends I've had wild camping! It just doesn't make sense to me to change something which in my eyes isn't a problem!
Sounds hopeful on the job front then, Jamie, very good news that you have fingers in several pies at the moment. No, it certainly didn't feel like 18km on the walk, but I'm sure that's very much down to the great company. Did you factor in the little back-track you, Nicky and Matt did as well? I'm very pleased about that length, on my first bijou backpacking trip and after all the knee problems too. I really feel the knees are coming on great now - and ironically I've got the MRI on Tuesday!
Morning Blimey, so Kate was pleased with the erection and the length this weekend!! Good luck with the jobs Jamie.....
Morning. Yes, the erection and the length contributed to a very stimulating experience. Definitely one to be repeated.
Mornin' Personally I'd have prefered a bit less of the 'wet and windy' aspect.
