Big Agnes thing could lead to interesting results, if one's not incapacitated by hysterical laughter of course Unlikely to be achievable!

Kate one thing you should have learned by now is that I am a man ( honest! ) and we are always right! I'm liking the look of those new 390g full length airbeds that TR are bringing out but not liking the price of em! I feel a " get real you stupid dumb f**s " letter coming on again to cascade designs, similar to the one that Platypus got when I wanted the screw on tops for my Platys and refused to pay £5 for a tiny piece of plastic. Maybe TR won't send me a free one though? ... Has PTC been getting his Big Agnes out again

... Has PTC been getting his Big Agnes out again
Is that what he calls it?!

You could be right there Beth

on the sofa in a drugged daze vaguely watching stuff going on on telly. It was weird. It's what passes as a hobby for most people I think, Kate. I'm afraid I'm unable to help Burn in her quest for info on the Isle of Wight, but she didn't misremember my best (ill-informed) guess. I've had a very peculiar day.

I've had a very peculiar day.
Feel free to elaborate on that, Cath....

 Elaboration in PM, Kate.

My nurse maid is back in from his proper job and he's making dinner

Lucky you, TBW. How's your trapezius (um?) today?
 TBW's trapeze... Right, off home.
 LOL - love the outfit.
LOL Kate - I wish I was flying through the air No I think its this lovely trapezius muscle causing the problems but on my right side, then again it could be the rhomboideus, (those are the ones on the right) I think I'm going to have to make a fancy harness for my hot water bottle to keep it in place as heat seams to be the only thing easing it off. I'm certainly NOT going to take any more drugs!!

My laptop is a bit b*gg*r*d. The lcd keeps going horribly blurred and / or jumps around a bit. If I poke the plastic surround of the lcd, it goes back to normal, and sometimes it works find for a bit, then goes blurred again. If I hold the plastic surround in, the lcd behaves itself. Gaffer tape holding the plastic surround down hasn't helped. I'm wondering whether to try stuffing a bit of blu-tac down between the screen and the plastic surround (there's a small gap), or something like superglue. Any thoughts? Especially from people like Jamie, Beth and Mad Jim who know a bit more about computers than I do.
bit of plastic, or card rather than blu-tac or superglue... the later may do all sorts of nastyness to the plastic or screen coatings/finish.
Screen a bit more stable now with a piece of cardboard stuffed down the gap! Right everyone, meet Metric Liz, my 'big' sister, who was on Granada last week showing a local tv presenter round West Kirby Marine Lake, where she works when she's not teaching percussion!!

A dedicated Bear... "A forensic science graduate caught a care assistant who was stealing from her grandmother by hiding a camera in the eye of a teddy bear". Hope they didn't hurt the Bear! story in the Guardian
Morning Pishing down here this morning. Hmm, cameras in teddy bear eyes, eh? <reminder to self to look more circumspectly at all these little soft toys dangling off folks' rucksacks..... >
Soft toys!?!?! Bears are Little People! and not the same as soft toys. Oh no. Indeed not. Anyway, who would dangle a Bear off a rucksack. Any self-respecting Bear would insist on being in the rucksack all nice and dry. Contemplating going for a walk over the fens... but not sure I can be arsed this morning. Weather windy, threatening rain but perhaps not actually going to, and it's tuesday so default plan is lunch at the Wrestlers.
Go for a nice walk in the wind and rain Beth! Could do with some here to blow out the cobwebs.
