Flying visit again....

Been off work for 2 days after my sunday tea disagreed with me in a spectacular fashion overnight (either that or it was the nightmare about meeting Mike behind the Goat Shed). After several hours of alimentary nastiness, I realised that working was not an option on monday. I am fed up with flat lemonade, ribena, water and dry toast (mind you I only had 2 slices of that, but that's enough!).

sums it up.

Today I got back in and hit the ground running with classes and weighing and sorting out stuff that should have been done on monday. It's a good game.

Dry frosty and sunny this morning. Now cold and the clouds look like a snow sky...... I can hope

The first thing the driver said was "sorry, my fault", so I can't imagine it's going to be a problem.

Don't bet on it Kate, a bloke ran into Danel's car, wrote it off, admitted all his fault, he'd been drinking, so Dan felt sorry for him, let him go, contacted insurnace and the blokes insurance company fought it all the way!!!! Not the bloke..... Wan**rs!

I've been to the gym Pizza for tea to celebrate.... nom nom...

There was a very full moon here the other night but its been showery most of today, not freezing and mildish, there's not enough rain to put the burns up. I'm not sure if there'll be much frosty/snowy patches left for microspikes if it keeps like this, as long as it doesn't rain for days .

Evening all. I am back online and living in the countryside now. I don't quite have a view to rival AR's but it is not too bad for the south. A small place for little old me but I have a balcony!

Hoorah for GB's little place in the country. Your balcony looks perfect for a summer BBQ!

I'm still hoping we might be able to go dogging on the weekend, GB, but hope to get an email out, either yay or nay, tomorrow.

Looks very nice GB , not sure if that rail fence would keep sheep in, ok for horses I'm sure, that would be nice in the summer, you could move round and stay in the shade .

Maria, glad you can see the moon and stars, I would have thought there may be streetlights nearby, there are loads of streetlights off the M1 at Milton Keynes and a orange glow in the sky.

Need Rayburn for biscuits, have nearly ran out of shop bought ones .

'Officially' -4 here. It's very harsh -4 as well, no clouds at all, moon like a searchlight. It actually feels cold outside. A sort of un-English cold. Over a year, for me, since it felt like this.

Hello to all. I'm in Darwen, high (ish) up in the hills. It's been great here of late, Saturday was a real Winter day, snow and freezing drizzle that froze you as soon as it hit (rarely seen that). The last few days very cold and very clear. Snow again just in time for the weekend is predicted.

Thanks, Beth, I should get a courtesy car whilst Finn's in hospital, I'll just have to wait and see whether they want to repair him or he's not worth it.
