Well if he did win perhaps he could get a new, new car.

Sourlies? Went there last June. Looked inside to see a young couple looking like they were about to get down to it so I left and pitched my tarp. I had a good look around so see what it was like inside though. Thought is wasn't that good. Much prefer a tarp outside anyday. Plenty of nice pitching spots there.

If you go round the headland towards Inverie over the pass you get into a nice boggy area and a few old house ruins next to a bridge over the river. The bridge has a warning sign on the other side and was very dodgy. Now I wonder how you could get back to Inverie from there without going that way?? It is the most direct way but is there another way that is not much longer??

Just been to the post office in the village, the sea's flat calm and you can hear the seagulls calling about half a mile away. it's misty and grey though so not good for a photo .

The days are stretching out as its light at 4.30pm .

very Good , does this mean I am politically incorrect .

Stop Press  Back boiler made in Inverness ( stainless steel ) may go in and pick it up tomorrow or saturday, am running out of cereal amongst other things .

Thank you for all the birthday wishes Bouys and Guirls. They are much appreciated

I see MoS has spotted what I fill my bidet with. I have a pint glass for dipping in it Very handy on a friday night!

Alas, I've had a hectic day here in the nut house. But I did manage to have my afternoon tea break, so we had cream cakes and my mates had brought me a "Movie Night" present- Some Original Frankenstein DVDs, Chocolate and wine My bad habits are all encouraged

I'm afraid Dundee is damp, dreich and grey. Hardly festive, but the rain stopped for a bit at lunchtime, so I at least I got to the Bakery and back dry- unlike my walk to work this morning. So, it's not all bad.

Hi Neil welcome to Bennachie- weather reports welcome.

And hooray for GB's balcony Looks like a nice spot to relax with beer  and bbq.

Tomorrow should be a bit less hectic, so I might get on a bit more

Time to head home- via a glass of wine TTFN

Wooo hoooo! AR's getting his boiler tomorrow! You'll be relieved I bet. Looking forward to more shortbread already!

I'll be glad to air the house and replace the shower in the house, but there will be a bit of dust, and after me tidying and dusting everything ( not that M&M's didnt leave it tidy, you wouldn't have known they were there, apart from the presents left on the table downstairs .

edit, snow falling in Yorkshire and Linconshire according to the radio, will there be any left for the weekend .

Reet then bored.... off to bed. Roll on the weekend....

Last night in the Big Moidart House!  Another good day wildlife hunting...another eagle, seals, but sadly still no otters!

Back to the real world tomorrow!

Off for a last pint or two in the Salen Hotel.

Thats the same distance from here to Braemore Junction then ( - 2miles ) then Maria, you seem to have escaped the "Frozen Rain " which is good, unless you were wanting to drive/ walk on it , leave room for Kitty .

AT/ TBW sorry about the lack of Otters, I havent seen any either up here and they are about , hope your last Salen pint slips down well .
