No, Jamie! You know what they say.....  two's company, three's just perverted!

After listening to you two making funny noises and giggling all night at weekend I'm still distrubed enough thankyou very much!

Excuse me! I was an independent witness to the funny noises and giggling coming from both other tents at the weekend!

I was going to see if anybody wanted to test some tents at the Kinlochleven meet, now though...

Morning

Yay, I get to leave work early (officially) to go walking in Snowdonia this evening

Kinlochleven's still up in the air for us.....

Morning. It's grey and damp in south Wales

I'm off up the Rhondda shortly to see my knee chiropractor.

'mornin all

"I'm off up the Rhondda"

My late mother came from the Rhondda; we're hoping to get down to Cardiff to visit her family in October

Sandra is recovering well after her op; she had the key hole version of the procedure. I must say I've been seriously impressed at the way she's borne all this and I'm sure her fighting attitude (5' red haired scot with all the angst that goes with it!) has a lot to do with her excellent recovery.

I came back offshore last Wednesday so I'm still on the uphill part of the trip

Edited to add: Good luck with the Chiroprator Kate and thanks to all for your good wishes to Sandra, both here and in your emails to me .

Morning all.

Begin the day
With a friendly voice
A companion, unobtrusive
Plays that song thats so elusive
And the magic music makes your morning mood

Off on your way
Hit the open road
There is magic at your fingers
For the spirit ever lingers
Undemanding contact
In your happy solitude

Invisible airwaves
Crackle with life
Bright antennae bristle
With the energy
Emotional feedback
On a timeless wavelength
Bearing a gift beyond price ---
Almost free...

All this machinery
Making modern music
Can still be open-hearted
Not so coldly charted
Its really just a question
Of your honesty, yeah your honesty

One likes to believe
In the freedom of music
But glittering prizes
And endless compromises
Shatter the illusion
Of integrity, yeah

For the words of the profits
Are written on the studio wall,
Concert hall ---
Echoes with the sounds...
Of salesmen.

Good to hear Sandra's well

Mos - I may have found you a dehydrator.  Will PM you details.

Good news about Sandra and her fighting Scottish spirit!

Had good news from the Chiropractor too - both knee joints are vastly more stable than when first went to him nearly 3 months ago. I've orders to do some walks on unstable ground before what he hopes might be the final appointment in 6 weeks. I'm sure we can find some unstable ground in Scotland!

Does the fact you're now attending the chiropracter sober have a bearing on the apparent stability of your knees?

Thanks there Roger. MoS is on the road just now but should be back online this evening.

could drop you the details too if you want matt.  basically contacted one of the people who sell the L'Equip one, who confirmed it's out of stock pending having a digital timer added to it, but they're offering an american alternative at the same price, a nominal saving over the "official" price of £50.

Now I need a chiropracter to sort out my coccyx dis-alignment

Well, I don't know much about anatomy, Rog, but would a boot on the opposite side of your body re-align your coccyx?

It's still pissing it down - what a miserable day it's been. I'm off home!
